Internal auditors provide an independent assesment of a company's risk management processes, governance and internal controls. They look at all the risks facing a company and what is being done to manage those risks including issues that are critically important to the survival and profitability of a company, such as the organisation’s reputation (i.e. by using cheap outsourced labour), environmental impacts, health and safety procedures, employee relations and also wider strategic issues such as resources being stretched by entering too many markets. They provide business owners with an independent, objective and constructive view of their business so that they can take the necessary steps to protect themselves.

Lawrence Young Ltd's independent Internal Audit Consultants are members of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors.
