AVN Lawrence
Young Associates provides business improvement
assistance primarily to small and medium sized
businesses. Such services are based on the development
and improvement of appropriate strategies for
the businesses concerned in order to give the
owners and managers the results they initially
established their businesses for. As such we go
much further than the 'normal' accounting practice,
providing not just accounting and tax services,
but strategic, operational and marketing advice
and assistance, including where appropriate personal
and professional development services (eg attitude
and skills training, coaching and mentoring, sales
and management training).
The business
was established in 1999 by Keith Lawrence, having
previously worked at Director level within the
Telecommunications industry, where he successfully
used his management and analytical skills in finance,
IT, HR and strategy to bring about significant
corporate growth and bottom line improvements.
Supported by a team of competent advisors and
support staff, he is now applying similar, but
appropriately tailored, improvement models to
smaller businesses - the large businesses of the
future.
For many small and medium
sized businesses, a skills and knowledge gap exists,
in that they often cannot afford full-time financial
expertise although they would significantly benefit
from someone with intimate knowledge of their
business being available to provide help and assistance
on a day-to-day basis or just in times of need.
AVN Lawrence Young Associates can fill this gap
by, for example, becoming the client's virtual
Financial Director, ad hoc Finance Advisor, or
even handling day-to-day accounting transaction
processing and/or payroll.
